Giving Youth Opportunities

In the summer of July 2019, DTS partnered with Giving Youth Opportunities (GYO), LA County Stentorians and The Village Enrichment Program in sponsoring a summer program for girls.

 

DTS conducted workshops during the four week program which included fire safety, CPR and first aid.

The program culminated with a ceremony on July 27th attended by parents, leaders of the program and community to celebrate and reward each girl with a Certificate of Completion and CPR card for their participation in the summer program.

Mission Haiti

In an amazing series of events following Haiti’s major earthquake (circa 2010) DTS has been fortunate to partner with the brave Firefighters of Haiti to help improve their ability to serve their own communities.

Mission Zambia

Given the success and aggressive fashion in which Team DTS went to aid Haiti, Team DTS was presented with the great task of setting up a 21st century Fire and EMS infrastructure for the country of Zambia, Africa.
