    DISASTER TRAINING SPECIALIST

    BRIEF HISTORY

    Disaster training specialist (DTS) came to life after donating an ambulance to the town of Croix Des Bouquet , Haiti. They discovered Haiti had no real fire rescue or public safety foundation. Team DTS immediately went into a planning and strategy session to figure out a solution to this problem, the birth and planning phase started on a napkin while having dinner at a hotel in Haiti.

    From there, Team DTS didn’t stop at one city. Shifting focus to the whole island of Haiti the team collectively felt compelled and the desire to help more communities like Croix Des Bouquet. Soon after the team delivered a fully equipped fire engine as well as provided training to fire personnel for the city of Carrefour, Haiti. From there DTS set its sights for the future in designing a complete 21st-century fire rescue infrastructure for the whole island nation of Haiti.

    Given the team’s success and impact to date in Haiti DTS now has its sights set on a global impact.
